Zoe Deverick

Zoe Deverick (she/her) is a Clinical Psychologist based in Whanganui and has been practising since 2018. She provides therapy for clients across a wide range of mental health concerns, including trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, chronic pain, adjustment to injury, OCD, identity concerns, and eating-related difficulties. Zoe is an ACC-registered provider for Psychological Services, Pain Management, and Integrated Sensitive Claims.

Zoe brings compassion, curiosity, authenticity, and humour to her therapeutic approach, drawing on CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, mindfulness and self-compassion approaches, and internal family systems therapy. Zoe has a strong interest in supporting clients from the rainbow community and contributes to improving access to gender-affirming healthcare through consultation and assessment work with regional services and gender clinics.

Alongside individual therapy and psychological assessments, Zoe provides general clinical supervision; training and consultation around gender-affirming therapy services; and sensitive claims assessments.
